Changes

I think the new year should begin in the Fall....
It seems like a time of change.
School begins for children and the weather softens.

Today I begin a new career.
I leave behind one I have put my heart and soul in to.
I am happy to begin anew.

I needed something that required the same level of attention, just on a smaller scale.
I hope with this new change I will have more time to dedicate to my little corner of the blog-o-sphere!
I worked on my grandmother quilt over the weekend and will share that at some point this week.

I am wishing you a happy New Beginning too!

Venturing out....

Today was such a lovely clear blue sky day.
I secreted away and this is what I saw!

Fall is unfolding and Summer has begun to melt away....
When I awake in the mornings dew
blankets the ground....

So thinking of cool Fall weather I had a "hankering" for wool....

I visited my favorite yarn shop and found this:

Later in the day I went to #2 daughter's soccer game:

and this was the view from the soccer field we were visiting....

You can see boys preparing for a football game to the left.
It was such a gorgeous day and view.
Now on to some crochet, stitching and library....
