Do you see happy?

Do you see "happy"?

Still working on the baby quilt. I decided to add some random words to it just because...
Words like "happy" and "joy" and whatever else comes to me while I am stitching.

I picked up the new Mollie Makes at the fabric store while my youngest daughter went
off in search of fabric to make a stuffie. She has always made her own little creatures since
she was really young. At 13, I thought she was over stitching...not so! She comes by it naturally lol!
Have a great day!

  1. I see happy! So sweet.

I can't resist that Mollie Makes either when I see one. The little kits get me every time.

You'll have to show your daughter's stuffie... xo

    1. Hi Peggy,

I know those little goodies they add to the magazine are such a fun thing!
I feel like a kid who just got a box of cracker jacks lol! Remember those?
It was such a big deal to get the toy out of the box...
I will show her stuffie when she finishes...will have to sneek a picture :)

  2. I see 'happy' and I see a little squirrel who makes me happy too!

    1. Hi Nancy,
Those little creatures are cute :)
That bit of fabric is a very soft flannel.
The print reminds me of some fabulous
      Japanese fabrics I have seen.

  3. Those little scottie dogs make me happy! I'm still avoiding the "Mollie Makes." If I don't look, I won't want one. :)

    1. Hi Deb,

I missed seeing your comment the last time I was hear...sorry :)
Those scottie dogs make me smile too!
I agree about not looking. If I do not go to the fabric or book store I will not buy. lol!

  4. lots & lots of happy!
& i enjoy mollie too, it's like candy.

  5. Hi Handstories,

I hope to work on the baby quilt tomorrow.
I got to hold the little guy today and he is adorable and precious.
I know his mommy will appreciate it.
Mollie Makes is like variegated thread...both are like candy
and bring a big smile to my face :)

  6. I spy Happy and a little squirrel and that makes me happy!
Love your quilt and Mollie Makes, too...!

    1. Hi Mary,

I have two days off this week and I have to work on that baby quilt because
the baby shower is November 4! Yikes! I have used mostly 1930's retro reproduction
fabrics. I think of you when I use them because they are cheerful and happy like your art.
      : )

  7. Hi Marie,
I have missed you. How are you doing on the baby quilt?
Your blog always makes me smile and smells like a warm stew is cooking in the kitchen and fresh bread baking in the oven. Well I imagine that it does anyway.

    Having a cup of tea,
