  1. I love that embroidery on the feathers -- it is so YOU, Marie! :) The color of the hydrangea is beautiful, I sure wish they grew well here...good things lie ahead, I'm thinking, with those new fabrics! xoxo

  2. Hi Peggy,

I had big plans for yesterday, july 6, my birthday...one was to sit and stitch and contemplate my life..lol! None of which happened! lol! I did have a lovely day and seeing your comment made me smile :)
I can not wait to jump in to those new DS fabrics and make something fun! I was trying to see if I could sneek them into my Madonna quilt, but only one of them will work.
The hydrangea love acidic soil (coffee grounds help them to stay that brilliant blue).
Wishing you beautiful Summer days!!!! xoxo

    1. I'm sending you a big happy birthday wish for all your heart's desires, dear Marie! I'm so glad to know you. Love to you.

    2. Oh Peggy, you are such a dear person...I am sooo thankful to know you and I feel such gratitude to read each post you share. I always feel warm in my heart when I read what you have written.Much love to you xoxo <3

  3. Happy Birthday Marie!
I have been thinking about you and your garden. So glad to see how beautiful it has become. From reading your blog I can see that you have been making a lot of drama come true. what kind of dog did you get. what did you name him or her ?

    1. Hi Becky,

The dog is a small Yorkshire Terrier. His name is Oliver Bentley. There are parts of the garden that are doing really well. Thank you xoxo

  4. Happy Belated birthday, my long-time friend. I hope it was great. Been seeing you a lot on Pinterest and hope you will blog again soon! (:

    1. Hi Gina,

      Pinterest is my therapy lol!
I spent the day with one of my daughters running around doing errands...the fun kind. We had breakfast at Panera's Bakery/Restaurant and then to Victoria's Secret because I needed girl things (which I am too cheap to spend money on lol!) All and all a fun day. Dinner with the other family members :) Thank you.
Wishing you and your family a fun Summer! :)

  5. Look at all these wonderful things! :)

  6. Hi Deb...so sorry it has taken me such a long time to respond...
so much to do and so little free time. Yes, wonderful things. :)

  7. It all sounds wonderful! Such lovely images of a perfect day!

  8. Hi Dulcy,

the garden has been lovely this year...about the only thing that has been accomplished. The squash leaves are giant! The baby tomatoes did very well.
    lots of pretty flowers too!
Days like this one are such a gift. xo

  9. Hi Marie,
Love that fabric! Beautiful garden as well. I am sure you would love to be back in your garden of time for it had passed on to another season. Nice that we can press these memories in photos!
