Wolves, pottery and rings...

daughter #3 and her "imaginary" wolf friend.

My daughter insisted I not embroider the clothes on the wolf, formerly a fox. She said it was
"creepy" to put clothes on animals and so, I embroidered a bit of fur and green grass to cover the iron-on print.

My daughter is pleased with her new picture : )

This is the most charming pottery I have found:
Watch the slide show. I promise it will bring a smile to your face.

Working on Grandmother's/Spring quilt.

and look! what appeared....a little feather magic : )

A rare moment with daughter #2. She has been "on the go" this Summer and I really enjoy our time
together.

A sweet kiss!

  2. Thank you : )
I would love to try making some fun pottery cups after seeing Julie Whitmore's whimsical and creative pottery. I was so inspired after watching the slide show of her work. Glad you enjoyed it too!

  4. Hi Deb G,
What I liked the most about the picture I chose to embroider was the fact that it had a suit on, but my daughter would have nothing to do with that and insisted I make it more like a real wolf.
She said the clothes were "creepy".

That pottery is so inspiring to me! I would love
to try to make my own...seems like a lot of fun.
