Found some yummy thick yarn to make a cowl neck warmer for winter...
antique needlepoint apple picture found...
antique needlepoint watermelon picture found...
both of these needlepoint will join my "supper" picture in the kitchen once I finish painting...
because this is where I have been spending all my "free" time...
painting walls.
Have a great day!

oh....that yarn is so yummy.
ReplyDeleteMarie, I LOVE your cowl -- is that single crochet you're doing? Those needlepoint pieces are a great find -- everything here makes me happy. Happy painting to you! xo
ReplyDeleteHi Deanna,
ReplyDeleteOh my...the minute I saw this yarn and touched it I was so smitten!
It is a chunky fat yarn and sooo much fun to crochet with : )
"yummy" is a good word for it : )
Hi Peggy,
ReplyDeleteUmmm...I think it is single crochet I am doing lol!
I just kind of make up what I want to do lol! : )
So far I can not read the directions for crochet. I know it is not that hard.
I just need time to focus on it.
Are'nt those needlepoint fun? I found them for $3 and they are
much larger then they appear. Happy is a good word...
I am always happy to see you visit : )

Marie~ love the color of that yarn. I think I have the same one in 'fall' colors :) Great idea to make a cowl.
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteThe yarn shop did have fall-ish colors in that yarn and I debated about which one to get. I chose the brighter
one because I thought one of my daughters would like it. It may be a Christmas gift??? Not sure yet...it depends
on how much I like it or don't like it when I am done....lol!
I needed to make something that would not take much yarn. I will still have to buy at least one more skein of yarn to finish my little cowl. : )
