  1. Merry Christmas Marie, Wonderful song. Today we were eating breakfast in the car (the restuarant that we wanted to go to was closed). Across the street was a truck with a cattle car hitched on the back of it. I told Joe that I could hear the cow lowing. Funny the things that you will think of at this time of year.

Thank you for being such a huge inspiration to me in 2011. You are the best friend and you are so REAL and HONEST. Thank you for these gifts of friendship.

  2. Hi Becky,

This year things were NOT open on Christmas. I was driving and planning on stopping at MCd's for breakfast so the children and I stopped at a gas station...goldfish, coffee, mini donuts and combos were breakfast lol!

What can I say?...<3 and big hugs to you. You inspire me!

  6. Hi Gina,

Thank you. Hope your Christmas was filled with family, good food, fun, laughter and joy : )
Happy New Year to you too!
The children and I had to come up with desserts for a family dessert competition and I thought of you because you always have the best recipes!
I ended up making an eggnog cake with whip cream cream cheese frosting, birds nest, and pumpkin bread. They loved them but we did not win..ha! ha!

  7. Hi Peggy, (aka Woman with Wings),

It was funny. Being in retail I just knew that places would be open, but this year was different. I think people are putting their foot down and saying "no" to the corporate world and I say, "Bravo!"

Anyway I could have made us breakfast to go and if we ever decide to travel on Christmas day again...I will.

How long does the Yuletide last???? Cause I am up for celebrating lol!
Hope your Yuletide was filled with much love, joy and peace <3
