3 crows feathers that began my journey will be attached to her. (the rattle)
The leather is not as stiff as I wish it to be although I wet it and put sand in it and let it dry completely.
Any ideas???
A mixture of herbs, stones, and flowers will be the rattle part. I would like to add a bit of corn and tobacco.
One curious little black cat!

You sent me off watching lots of videos on this subject the last time!!! The rocks you've chosen are beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteHa ha...I am smiling. It is pretty interesting?
I think I needed a thinner leather??
None the less it will have to do.
The stones and herbs were a gift to me.
I have always been fascinated with stones and the healing/energetic
properties of them.
thank you <3

Wish I could help you but I've never done this before so I'm learning from you. I love the rattle mixture you've made up and how you've created this, step-by-step, with so much focus and intention. You'll be raising up some good energy with this. xoxo
ReplyDeletelooking in that dish reminds me of a kaleidoscope- such lovely combination of items and thought going into this.
ReplyDeleteLove how this is coming together...
ReplyDeleteHi Peggy,
ReplyDeleteI think normally the leather used for rattles is thinner, but I am not sure.
I will have to do a little research. I was trying to use what was on hand and although it works,
there is still "tweeking" to do. Lol!
I am looking forward to another full moon so the rattle can bathe in the light of it and absorb that energy.
I am off to find some corn....

Hi Handstories,
ReplyDeleteAs a child I was fascinated by kaleidoscopes and I think you are right...
It does remind me of a kaleidoscope too.
Thank you<3
Hi Deb,
ReplyDeleteI wish I could move faster on things, but it seems these days are consumed with so many other things.
I have to remind myself to take a "little step" in the direction I want to go every day and then all those little steps add up.
Thank you <3
