The thrifting goddess was smiling on me today!
I walked up the Christmas aisle at my favorite thrifty store and look what jumped out at me....
My eyes got really bright and a smile lit up my face. "I said to myself it has to be mine, only .99 cents and made in Japan."
Even with all it's little chippiness and wear...I am happy and smitten...
Thank you thrifting goddess : )

I had a fuzzy-flocked type ornament that looked like this! Cute :)
ReplyDeleteIt is the little things that make me happy and finding this little deer gave me a big smile. They just have sweet faces. : )
ReplyDeleteAdorable! It was meant to be! I love the little animals of that era, such sweet faces. Speaking of sweet, your little feline friends are adorable, too. Hope your day continues to make you smile.
ReplyDeleteHi Jeannie,
ReplyDeleteI noticed that a lot of the toys for my daughters when they were younger had that large eye, bigger head quality that I find so charming.
The kittens are really cute but very energetic.
Thank you <3
I forgot to mention that I like your new banner for your blog.
ReplyDeleteHi Jeannie,
ReplyDeleteThank you. It is sort of winter looking and I wanted a change.
Like putting on a new dress lol : )

Oh my gosh, how cute! This looks like one of the little deer characters from the old animated Christmas movies - you know the one? With the Abominable Snowman? Where are you going to place him/her?
ReplyDeleteHi Gina,
ReplyDeleteFor now it resides on my desk...front and center because it
makes me smile : )
p.s. love that Christmas movie <3
What a deal, she was definitely with you! Love it and love your thrifting goddess, too...will have to call upon her next time I go thrifting! xo
ReplyDeleteI felt like all the stars lined up in that moment. lol!
ReplyDeleteI had been visualizing a little deer for the longest and their she was.
The next time you are thrifting...
May the thrifting goddess be with you xoxo (smiles)
