    I love the dark jewel tones but felt it needed a little zap of lighter color to
    go with the "water" aspect of the quilt and also to "wake" up the piece.

    I want this quilt to convey a deeper unseen side of the feminine energy.
    The side that lies underneath all of creation. The water part is the fluid, moving force that creates all. The deeper hues, especially purple evoke a spiritual side of things in my mind/world : )
