I love the dark jewel tones but felt it needed a little zap of lighter color to go with the "water" aspect of the quilt and also to "wake" up the piece. : ) Thank you. <3
I want this quilt to convey a deeper unseen side of the feminine energy. The side that lies underneath all of creation. The water part is the fluid, moving force that creates all. The deeper hues, especially purple evoke a spiritual side of things in my mind/world : ) Thank you <3
I love the comments here about weaving things together to make them stronger. Reminds me of "bonding" with fabric, with people, with community. We are blessed.
